Gary Morton, CEO of Morton Group, has been shortlisted for the North East Times magazine Financial Impact Award 2019.

The awards, now in their second year running, shine a spotlight on individuals across the North East who have made an exceptional impact across five key areas – financial, global, regional, profile and innovation.

Gary is one of three contenders in the running for the Financial Impact Award, the winner of which will be decided at the awards ceremony on 4 December.

He will also feature in the December issue of the magazine following an exclusive interview and photoshoot over the coming weeks.

Kapex Construction’s Commercial Director, Dave Lovatt, entered the nomination on Gary’s behalf.

The recent successes of Kapex Construction and LOK Developments were a major contributing factor towards Gary’s success at making the shortlist

“It’s an honour to be nominated, it really is” said Gary. “The Impact Awards recognises some of the North East’s most prominent business leaders and game-changers, so it’s a privilege to be named among this year’s nominees.”

The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony taking place at the Wylam Brewery in Newcastle on 4 December 2019.
