Morton Group were named the headline sponsor of the RICS Matrics Christmas Ball 2019, held in aid of the Bradley Lowery Foundation.

This year the annual ball was hosted at BALTIC, Gateshead, on Friday 29 November. The evening was attended by over 150 property professionals from across the North East.

Speaking about the event, Gary Morton, Group CEO, said: “We are really proud to support the young surveyors of the region, and networking at events such as this provides a great opportunity to tap into that pool of North East talent.

“It’s also a great chance to get the Morton Group name out there among the surveying community and showcase the work that Lok Developments and Kapex Construction are doing. Thank you to Angela and Alice from the RICS for organising another fantastic evening”.

The event itself raised just over £2,500 for the Bradley Lowery Foundation, which was then generously matched by Gary.

He added: “The work that Gemma and her team do at the Bradley Lowery Foundation is incredibly inspiring and I’m so glad we got the opportunity to select them as the chosen charity for the evening. Thank you to everyone who donated”.

Guests started the evening overlooking views of the Tyne from the River Terrace, before moving upstairs for a three-course meal, fabulously hosted by Justin Lockwood. The drinks reception continued back downstairs with live music from The Spirals.
